Hi... I am in France... I had a 30 minutes phone call from Florida to let me know that I had won a bargain travel to Florida... With my poor academic (school) English vintage lessons and no practice on my *** and "Florida" spoken English, understanding was difficult or almost impossible to achieve... But nothing like a "win prize"... No... Just a "bargai" travel tour with unknown (mostly !) conditions... I asked an Email for details... Here, things are madefar more clear ! Nothing is "won"... But a 998$ charge billed soon!!! I had a bank opposition made soon. Enough Enfglish speaking (fluently !) people have been scammed not to be adding people anymore. Please TAKE CARE !!! Astar = DHL (from some justice decisions...). Little peolple scarry them, but with BIG commercial endings (EEC for instance... I am turned ON..) and some GROUP ACTION... Nothing like that exist here. in France... But I am expecting to have enough complaints thrououtthe world to have a BIG legal affair... Far over Floridapolicy and even USA federal laws.... Some people reported that they have been TAPPED DOWN, and had a rebuttal then when asking for money back....ASTAR asks you to use their own CONFIRMATION NUMBERS (2 sets of 4 numbers...). Just read it fully. And when a doubt, just prohibit them to have any money from any account... In many countries you have a 7 days "selling retraction law" (very protective !) to be back of such traps....Just use it BEFORE BEING BILL CHARGED... Usually very fast... And more: inUSA,0tapping down conversation is ILLEGAL... Just second guess what ASTAR DO... Interested people, please contact... Will send coordinates.... ASTAR people, please don't... The legal affair is growing on fast and even more deeply as yourown lawyers even think about...

Astar Holidays is a rip off

Looks like I too was fooled into believing I had won a holiday. My only mistake was making the payment. The telephone call was so pleasant and charming. After I made my payment, I then chose not to go and asked for my money back. Did not go down to well. True colours emerged with rude comments, yelling and putting me on hold (toll call) left me with a large toll bill, no refund, no apology and replies to my emails. Keep far away from Astar Travel/Holidays. They are scam artists selling second rate packages disguised as bargains. Signed: Scammed Wellington NZ
